What happens to what you send
This page explains it plainly. If anything here is unclear, ask the church office.
What we collect
Whatever you choose to put in a card: your name, a written note, a voice memo, a video, or a photo, plus anything optional you add — a ministry or family label, a Bible verse, a prayer intention. Your name is the only thing required; everything else is up to you.
Who can see it
Only the priest a card is addressed to. Each card has its own passcode-protected inbox, and one priest cannot see the other's messages. No one else — not other visitors, not search engines — can read what you send.
Spam and abuse prevention
To keep the cards free of spam, we briefly note a hashed, unreadable version of the IP address behind unusually rapid submissions. It cannot be turned back into an address, and it isn't connected to your name or message.
Site analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to see how many people visit, in aggregate. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify individual visitors.
How long it's kept
Messages stay as part of the card for as long as the priest keeps it. If you'd like something you sent removed, contact the priest to have it deleted. It's best not to send anything you might later want deleted.
